Well, since like Knot Sew, I am a library person...I really can't justify the cost of buying the reader. If we still travelled a lot, yes...but thats not to say I won't get one. I think the up side for me would be the ability to get the books that I actually want to read, when I want to read them. Our library is very small, but not too bad for what it is. Its just that there isn't much of a budget for buying books and I have to wait..and wait...and wait. Sometimes, I end up buying the book, reading it, then donating it to the library!

The only kindle I know is what rabbits do when they give birth :? 8-)

WalMart and Target are advertising the Sony e-reader this morning for less than $200.......
|
I just saw an ad on tv for the Sony at $199....so it must be about that everywhere.

Sure beats the Kindle price of $259 :D Of course if the Sony is not as good as the Kindle, then I guess it would be a wasted $200
Do you think the prices will come down after Christmas??? |

Wouldn't that be cool -- to have someone READ to you while you're doing what you love to do? Talk about a win-win :D

These are sounding more tempting.....:D

I would assume that the prices may come down. I paid $359 for mine, and now they are $250.
