I'm looking closely at the B&N Nook -- when I went to my local Barnes & Noble on Saturday, they said all the stores are going to have a Nook for demo and testing purposes, as of today. So if you're thinking of buying one, go check it out at the store.
I wish I knew someone that had a Kindle so I could try it out...I'd like to compare it to the Nook. |

I must warn you that the 'read to' function is not so great. It's a robot voice, with no inflection. But I guess once you get past that, it's not so bad.

Yeah - that's what I thought. I don't think I'd like that, but it wouldn't stop me either. I doubt I would use that feature while travelling - might use it in the sewing room, but if I really didn't care for it I would just borrow audio books from the library.
