I am a sugar artisit aka cake decorator. I own two 4 1/2 qt and one 5 qt KA mixers. Love them. We got one for a wedding present and I worked it like a dog for years before it gave out. And we've been married for 31 years.

I absolutely love my Kitchen Aid Mixer. As i age it seems to get heavier to move.

I love my Kitchen Aid mixer. It is a time saver and easy to clean. I just got the pasta attachment and it has been so fun to play with. Cooking is almost as fun as quilting, so gotta have all the good toys! If it is a good price, go for it.

Best mixer ever!

Dear Dotty, my daughter asked me the other day why I never made beautiful Christmas cookies like this year when she was a child. I said because I didn't have a Kitchen Aid mixer! I was married for 44 years before I got mine. Boy was I mad that I never got one sooner. I love mine! Now I make bread, cakes, cookies and mashed potatoes are to die for. So I say definitely get one. You will never regret it.

meanmom, the white one is fine if you buy some quilted material and make a cover. That's what did.

I got a basic almond colored one when I was first married--in 1973. It has churned out lots of goodies in that almost 40 years. It's going as strong as it ever did! Go for it--you will love it.

Yes, do buy one! You will not regret it! I have a Professional 600, and love it! I need to buy more of the attachments.

My NEW MIXER HAS JUST ARRIVED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my goodness she looks lovely on my kitchen work surface - I have the red one and the quality is amazing. Must give her my first "run" when I have chosen a recipe. My youngest DD is 33 today and we are just about to go out to lunch with her. I will let you know how my FIRST recipe goes later.
Thanks again to all who have replied - you are all obviously very happy with yours. DottyD in a very wet rainy day here in England, UK. |
