I made these for my Mom... she absolutely hated her prosthesis, thought it was way too heavy. But she loved my knitted ones. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone dealing with this. :(

Nan, I saw that contraption only once in my knitting experience. A shop I bought yarn from took the skeins and put them in it. Very cool.
Nice of you to make those things. |
I made one of those contraptions for my then wife who wove. She has a FW borrowed from me now.

I made a set of these using this pattern, but filled it with pillow fluff instead of plastic beads. I have seen them made of swimsuit fabric that were really cute. One owner said she “likes them printed because she was always afraid to get a tattoo. Now she had pretty tattoos on both sides.”. Lol.

my retired nurse mid-wife step daughter knits for preemies but i told her she needs to also do some knitted knockers!! So nice!!

Thanks for your service to this cause. I had never heard of the organization and love their funny name.

Smile Amazon
Since I am unable to knit, I identified the Knitted Knockers Support Foundation as my Smile Amazon charity to support them. Nan, yours workwomenship is great!

A friend just shared this video about knockers in Nairobi... how refreshing to see a caring male knitting them.
