I have angels, cats, parrots, frogs and an armadillo in my yard but no flamingos or gnomes.

I do. They hide in different spots in my gardens.

Our church does a "Tour of Tables" evening once a year. Just had one - a young gal gave her gnomes a "bubble bath" before using them on her table as decoration. Had them 'hiding" under plants in the middle of her table. Very cute.
We had 12 tables - they are all different and all 12 were different than last year. We serve a meal and also provide entertainment. A fun evening.

No gnomes but lots of cats and other concret animals lurking about.

My husband would run over them if I got em. Our rule is if it doesn't have a function, it can't live at our (1000 sq foot) house. Not enough room for us, 2 teenagers and "choch-kees."

Picked up a Mickey Mouse one at Epcot's Flower & Garden Show. He sits on my deck (and drives my puppies nuts).

Gnomes do have a purpose in the garden, and I try to have at least one small one in each flower bed. According to old folklore, gnomes are guardians of the Earth. Don't ask me where I pick up such useless information...I just do!!! On the plus side, I am wicked good at Trivial Pursuit!!!

You would love living near me. Every year they have what they call the Return of the Flamingos. It's a special fund raiser that they do and the proceeds go to the breast cancer foundation. I forget how much money you donate, but you donate money and then you can have 20 plastic flamingos placed in anyones yard. It's really funny to wake up in the morning and see the face of someone who has been flamingoized. I will see if I can find someone near me who has them and take a picture of it to share. It a fun thing to benefit some great women that is for sure.

don`t think I want gnomes, after I had a grandmothers garden, flag stone path, with american flags along the path, with a marker stone, saying GRANDMA`S ANGLE GARDEN, and a stone angle for each grandchild, and some one took it all.
