ABSOLUtely,i taught my children to and all my grandchildren do too. I find MOSt people very polite....others must have been raised by wolves...thank goodness, they seem to be in the minority.

Yes, always and I taught my 3 children manners as well. Have you noticed that people rarely say "you're Welcome"? We just got back from holidays and both my husband and I noticed that when we would pay for items and say "Thank you", the cashier usually said "Uh-Huh". What happened to "You're Welcome"???

Sure do. I even say "thank you" to my DH when he passes the salt or does some other favor for me.

yes, of course.

Always say thank you! I realized how important it can be when I went through a drive through to get some breakfast (when I order I always say please and thank you-ingrained from childhood) and the lady who served me at the window said that I made her day by being polite. She said that I wouldn't believe how rude people are when ordering, even cussing her out. Good manners never hurt anyone.
