Love your sense of humor on the upsidedown tree. I'm a Santa collector too. All the tree decorations are nothing but Santas and I even have Santa lights I bought years ago.

Totally awesome, totally different, have to love it. OK how did you do it. (smile) It must be wonderful looking at a tree knowing you made the decorations. :)

wow those tress are high priced. Believe it or not but mine was only $69 from LTD commodities.
And in 1978 we also had a tree we ended up putting in a playpen. LOL!! took my son out of it. put the tree in it and used fish line to tie it up to the window curatin rolls. after our son knocked it over 2 times figured we better do something

This is the second one that I have seen an upside down tree.

When my children were young we would visit my sister's home and on the way, there was a home with two large bay windows separated by the front door.

Each of these windows displayed a beautiful Christmas tree...the only difference was one tree hung upside down.

I will have to send this thread to each of my children for their long lost memories of the "upside down" Christmas tree.

Thanks for the memories...MaryJane

I went on ebay, yes the price is high.

She's been dead a few years, but the first Christmas we had our first basenji, Suagr, she managed to get an ornament. I had completely forgotton about hanging an ornament made from a milkbone, near the top of the tree. She GOT it. It was our first time experiencing the 'they're like cats' trait the breed has.
So, I can see the appeal of this, but closing the door worked for us

Friends of ours did this as soon as their babies could walk! I think you are both so creative! Merry Christmas to you and yours! I want to see what your New Year looks like!

I love your tree! I saw one in person when I went for a meal at a small pub last week and thought it was the coolest thing ever. Theirs was suspended from the ceiling.
I like yours better!
