How do you go on long vacations and sleep in your own bed? Do you take it with you? ;)

I've always said, 'give me two hours and I'm ready to go anywhere'

maryse, somebody needs to be using it! However, my son and DIL are expecting twin boys any day now--and it looks like both are going to weigh in at 7 lbs. or over, according to the dr. I took my DIL to her OB appt. yesterday (she can't reach the steering wheel and pedals to drive). She's only 4'11" and all belly right now. Anyway, they are happy we bought the camper since they won't be doing much flying off to Hawaii or wherever on vacations once the boys arrive. Camping looks like a great way for them to vacation.

I spent 31 years in retail and we traveled to market six or seven times a year. Now I don't even think of going anywhere far from home unless it's really, really important. There's nothing like your own bed, believe me.
