   There must be more to life than who is doing what with whom

Lacelady 03-30-2010 07:23 AM

Ditto, me too.

Scissor Queen 03-30-2010 07:26 AM

Who? If you're hearing about them you're watching too much "entertainment" news.

azdesertrat 03-30-2010 07:29 AM

who??? just kidding LOL I try very hard not to watch entertainment news or read the gossip magazines, a waste for brain matter

Chasing Hawk 03-30-2010 07:48 AM

goes to show ya, if you don't want the publicity, keep your pants on.

*raises hand*

deedles215 03-30-2010 07:48 AM

YES. Can we just let them live their lives?

Wouldn't it be hard enough to deal with that in your marriage- much less have it broadcasted... augh.

Live and let be.

SuzyM 03-30-2010 07:49 AM

Don't care and I am tired of hearing about it. It is between them and their family and has nothing to do with us.

CraftsByRobin 03-30-2010 07:51 AM

So so tired of hearing about these two (although I feel for their significant others) ...

hands up,HANDS UP,I;m sick of it

Marjpf 03-30-2010 08:56 AM

Both hands WAY up! Don't tell anymore for the wives sake. We put these people on some kind of pedestal and then are shocked when they fall off.

bearisgray 03-30-2010 09:02 AM

I confess -

I admit to reading "some" trash magazines and watching "some" trash TV -

It reminds me that being "rich, famous, and/or talented" and/or married to someone that is "rich, famous, and/or talented" is no guarantee that one will have a "perfect" life.

stitchinwitch 03-30-2010 09:15 AM

CNN, HLN, ALL of them - not just entertainment news!

2wheelwoman 03-30-2010 09:30 AM

Both hands up - and I would include John and/or Kate Gosslin in the list of "tired of hearing about" also.

Scissor Queen 03-30-2010 09:46 AM

Turn off the tv. It's amazing all the things you don't hear about with that thing off and it's easy to pick and choose what news items to read on the internet.

BKinCO 03-30-2010 11:58 AM

Tired, yes. But I don't know which one to be more disappointed in.....

Sometimes its hard when there is more than one person in the house.

BellaBoo 03-30-2010 03:55 PM

There is no shame anymore. Everyone says he/she is just doing what is normal, they shrug and say who cares. The moral outrage , I guess, is saved for ....what?

starlight 03-30-2010 04:00 PM

Both arms up and waving.

renee765 03-30-2010 05:46 PM

Ditto

Chasing Hawk 03-30-2010 05:53 PM

Shocking part of it all is.....

How we even know any of this, aren't we suppose to be chained to our machines slaving away making pretty things?

Charity Quilter 03-30-2010 05:58 PM

I'm all for t.v. 'fasting'. Don't watch it, but get enough of the 'headlines' on the computer. Gossip, gossip, gossip....that's all it is.

Moonpi 03-30-2010 06:14 PM

lol - I am tired of tramps claiming THEY deserve apologies from those cheating scoundrals! Was I asleep the day they made homewrecking a national sport?

I KNOW I am gonna sound like an old fogey - but "back in MY day" sleeping around was NOT acceptable, guys did NOT wear their jeans on the ground, kids COULD respect their elders. the WAS a moral majority, cartoons did NOT teach to ridicule others, dinner was family time and everyone had to be there. Tatoos and body piercings were worn by gangsters (a BAD name) and hoodlums only. How did we get from THERE to HERE??

Here.. Here... I agree with you.. Sadly, as for the answer on how to fix I have no clue

stitchinwitch 03-31-2010 05:23 AM

There was a movie that came out a long time ago - maybe 20-30 years. There was NO talking, it showed how things started out pieceful, relaxing - THEN it slowly graduated to this hectic pace, people "not paying attention" The name of the movie (forgive my spelling") was "Koyensquatsi" or SOMEthing like that. Anyway - it shows how man is man's worst enemy - --that was my point if you were wondering (haha)

sandpat 03-31-2010 05:31 AM

Sick sick sick of it all!

Deb watkins 03-31-2010 05:35 AM

Could you imagine the amount of newsprint and air time needed if every man who dipped his pickle in someone else's icecream was made known! Enough already........

EllaBud 03-31-2010 05:39 AM

LOL!!!!! What a nice way to put it!!!

Boston1954 03-31-2010 05:54 AM

We are also still hearing about Michael Jackson........Gee wizz. Walter Cronkite died the same year and we don't hear about him every 8 minutes.

stitchinwitch 03-31-2010 06:01 AM

Every----"celebrity" ???? wants their 15 minutes of fame, don't they? We are still hearing about that young girl that got 10 plastic surgeries in ONE DAY! Heck, when she gets to be a senior citizen, her chest will STILL be falling to the ground! What IS a celebrity? Is the infamous Kate? I think NOT! And then of course there are the "stage mothers" that are pushing their infants and toddlers to flaunt themselves like beauty contestants. SICK SICK SICK!!!%$#@ I am getting upset now. The mom's are just carving out a path for their babies to end up in rehab!!!
