Oh jimminy crikets are you ever tough. Can't wait to see that quilt you were so determined to finish. Take care of yourself. Maybe you should see a doc to prevent infection. Are you current with your tetnis shot? Lock jaw can kill.

I was doing some FM and did that to my thumb except it didn't go through the nail (still not sure how I got my thumb like that under the needle) I was so mad that my needle broke, it was my next to last one! Did the same. patched it up, changed the needle and kept goin. I feel your pain! hope your finger feels better soon,

it's not just rusty nails, tetanus is everywhere, be careful with any puncture wound. I had to get one when I got a piece of plant material (dead iris stem) stuck in my thumb. Don't ask....

I've never sewed my finger. But I had to get a tetanus shot because my son had a puncture wound.? I made him a deal that if he had to get one then I would get one too. Well he didn't need one but I still needed one. Boy did that hurt. All weekend. And my husband and I were going away for the weekend. I couldn't even pull my arm back to buckle my seatbelt. Yea, we laugh about it now.lol
