I would love the preprinted panel.

Yooper said, "I am still confused, (imagine that!), but do you mean a pre-printed panel in color, or pre-printed in black outline to either paint or applique on? I am conflicted as to which I would prefer, either way.
Answer: I am talking about full color digital printing on quilt grade cotton. I already had a sample made and the color was perfect to my original painted shoe. The fun would come in choosing sashing and borders and the embellishments done after the quilting. How cute was it to add stick on colored rhinestones I found in the bridal dept of HL. aqua shoe embellished |
I'm for applique. Be sure to reverse them for fusible applique.

I would say try a little of each and see which sells best. That way you could satisfy everyone.

paper pattern for applique, but you could easily use it for painting as well if you have a light box to draw on the fabric. for price maybe 15 dollars at the most I would pay

After you clarified that you meant a yard goods panel with the shoes printed in squares -
I think I might consider buying that - I haven't purchased fabric for quite a while - but I've been reading that $12.00/yard for "special" fabric is now on the low end? But if that came in a panel, I would feel no major need for a pattern. |
Quilting.Adict, so what you are really saying is you'd be in essence selling a "panel" of the shoes already printed in the colors, etc. The we would add the sashing, borders. I would say with the pattern and then panel I would pay about $35.
