Just to clarify, I was not talking about computer generated fabric sheets with the shoe design. I was talking about 40" fabric, with the nine shoes on a yard. That is what I am trying to determine a price for.... so far it looks like there is very little interest in the 12" blocks...more interest in applique pattern which in my opinion would look nothing like my Head over Heels quilt.

I use Crayola crayons to paint quilt blocks. I would love to have the paper patterns to trace and then color. It seems to me that patterns for applique and painting would be essentially the same. Maybe I'm not getting a clear picture in my head. As for price, your problem will be thieves who (1) see the patterns and draw them without buying the pattern and (2) share the pattern with their guilds, etc.
If you are thinking of putting all the shoes on one large piece of fabric so that people cut them out and then applique or paint, figure the cost of the fabric, the printing and then add a percentage that will give you a reasonable return on investment. Don't forget to calculate the time and opportunity cost involved in creating the patterns.

A frame of reference might be what workers charge for laying tile. Around here, if you paid $1.00 for each tile, the worker charges $1 to $1.50 a tile to lay it if you furnish all other materials. froggyintexas

I've only read the first page, but as usual, I'm going to be different. I'd like the preprinted shoes, and can envison doing some fun FMQ and different bright colors in the borders and sashing

1. Already painted blocks, although you could offer it both ways for those that can paint and those that can't.
2. Applique if I wasn't painting.
3. If the shoes are printed, no more than 15.00. If they are hand painted then 30 - 40.

I would love for you to hand paint me some shoes. I watched as you posted everyone and each one is stunning. I'm not talented enough with paint to do that. So I would have to say pre printed. Or possible applique. I would pay around 19.99 for paper and 49.99 kit. Wish I could pay more I know they are priceless. Hope you have great success with this. :) Many Blessings

Have you tried a black background, with white ink?
Without the paint - 9 printed on fabric blocks $20...
to $40 depending on the size of the blocks

If it on paper, add seam allowance, with dotted lines, because some would like to have them.
