I hate to tell you. This past winter my husband wasw deathly ill and I had 2 guys come to finish the new room he had put on. I had a beautiful chest and I gave it to them because I did not think he would live to fix it with me. I wish I had sent it to you.

where do we find you on the internet to see about your classes? I live in Portland and my DMIL has two steamer trunks that I eventually would like to restore. Cannot right now but in the future.

I have my grandmother's trunk from her sojourn from Poland to the USA in the 1890's. It's not as fancy and pretty as yours, and someone obviously took a crow bar to the lock, but I'd like to clean it up and restore it. I haven't a clue where to start.
