I've made several rag fleece quilts & are loved by everyone. They are so soft & warm but not real heavy. I use two layers & snip them just like all other rag quilts.

Our local Project Linus received some "raggedy" blankets made from fleece, and they were surprisingly very nice. I don't mean to put down fleece, I use it for backings all the time, but I never thought to use it for piecing, particularly in a rag quilt. Would love to see a picture of yours!
