I lost my underemployment at the end of Dec so the end of fabric and notions buying for me, I used to RAK across the board but now as much
as I want to I am unable to do so. I am so happy for everyone that is getting goodies the mail!

donna the purchasing power for several folks has shrunken and many are giving from their stash of things that have been accumulated. don't be concerned that you are not able to give rak's now. there is a season for all things and now may not be your season to give as you want but receiving is fun to. you never know it could be your season to receive.:) your giving season will come around again.

my thoughts and prayers go out to all of those looking for jobs in this economy (including me). our job bounty is coming. i sure hope soon in my case because i really miss vacationing. i know there are some tropical spots just waiting for me to grace their presence and some umbrella decorated concoctions just waiting for me to ooh & ahh over.

krystyna i was sick from the week before thanksgiving until the new year. i was so tired of being sick i didnt know what to do. i have these yearly attacks on my immune system (usually when things pollenate) but this year my body had the hardest time recovering. i am sure it was due to an unseasonably warm winter and the irritant pollens had not died off so i suffered.

when the new year came i just decided that i was no longer gonna be sick even though i still couldnt breathe and was totally congested on antibiotics by this time. so along with the antibiotics, i went to the vitamin store (remember that story from dec sp swap) and got some immune boosters (echinacea, super vita c, lysine), had a few hot toddys, had a couple of days of winter and now i am as good as new.

here's to your recovery soon!

Thanks, Mary. Glad you are feeling better. Today I took off my crusty old pajamas and took a long hot shower to scrub off the "sick" -- and I have now declared myself to be healthy and well!
