September 2012 Weight Loss Adventure with a prize!!!!

On September 1st weigh yourself and write it down. Do NOT send it to me. On September 30th weigh yourself again and PM me with your loss. This is weight lost not % lost. I will announce the winner October 2nd.

PM me for address. FQ’s need to be received no later than the 10th of month.

You cannot win 2 months in a row.

Chit chat is allowed, as well as WAYWO, (what are we working on). Please stay positive and uplifting as that is what keeps us on track. Come to this thread for tips, recipes, encouragement and {{{{HUGS}}}}}}

The prize is a themed FQ. At the end of the month, I will mail all the FQ’s received to the winner by the 5th of the month. I will contact the winner and announce the winner with the number of FQ’s they will receive.
September is going into the fall, which reminds me of time changing from one season to another. Theme this month will be Fall Fabrics, what reminds you of fall. Please send quality what you would want to receive. As always if you cannot send the theme fabric please send what you have. If you don't have a FQ, send a linear 1/4 yard. If you have signed up to be in the competition, please send the FQ to hostess by the 10th of the month. The winner has worked hard for this reward.

Eat healthy, exercise, try and lose weight but most of all have fun!!!!!!!!!!!

Sign up deadline to be included in the Prize Adventure is September 4th at 9 p.m. CST, with your FQ received by the 15th of month. You can always contribute to the thread, but it is only fair to have a cutoff for those trying to win.

TO PARTICIPATE, JUST SIGN IN HERE ON THIS THREAD BEFORE SEPTEMBER 4TH. THERE IS NO NEED TO PM FOR PARTICIPATION, JUST YOUR ENDING WEIGHT LOSS FOR THE MONTH.

You must sign into the thread at least weekly to be eligible for the winning "skinny quarters" or to be declared "best loser for the month."

Yes Pink Lady, you send me as hostess the FQ or if you want to commit for multiple months, send for several months, I will be posting the themes for 4 months to save on postage. I will send you a PM with the mailing address of when to send them.

Good luck.

Please share your suggestions of what you would want in a theme for fat quarters.

irishrose 09-01-2012 12:10 PM

I'm back. I took August off for a lot of silly reasons, but I missed 'you guys' too much to just be a lurker. My weight is still hanging out in the same range. Coming back will give me some motivation. I already had two muffins instead of three and topped them with fat free vanilla Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese. See what a good influence we are on each other.

I will post more later as I am an orphan again this holiday.

Cindy, if the color was ever pink or coral, I might be more motivated. I need medium and dark florals for a Log Cabin wallhanging, though I bet I have enough when I look. In view of the fact I have a baby quilt on one machine for FMQ and snowballs on another, I'd better hold off starting the LC. I only have one design wall, LOL.

Vanogay 09-01-2012 04:37 PM

Cindy, I'm in. Will try to send all 4 FQs in the next week. I lost some last month, but nothing spectacular. Had a doctor's visit on Friday - had lost 11# in 5 months. Good for a loss, but abain, nothing spectacular. Need to really put this into high gear. Keep the chins up everyone - there's less of us out there!

cdmmiracles 09-01-2012 05:40 PM

I'm in again.......Goodluck ladies.

Pink Lady 09-01-2012 07:19 PM

I am in for September. It will be hard, this month is full of birthday's for us!!!

irishrose 09-02-2012 08:16 PM

Good evening, y'all. Unwanted excitement here this evening. I have been having trouble with yellow jacket wasps. The nest is under the trim strip on the corner of the house and I can't get at it. I've saturated the area - and me, with spray twice. But first today, I used the Furminator too hard on Lily, my Siberian mix. Red blood on a white and red dog isn't pretty. Then I trimmed her nails which is hard for a Sibe as they don't like their feet touched, but she was good girl. When I sent her to play, she tangled with a wasp. It got her right under the eye. I brought her in and washed her face because then I didn't know just where the bite was. I put a cold compress on it and while I was in the kitchen getting some of Moira's (the Border Collie mix) allergy medicine, Lily started having trouble breathing. The meds kicked in and I sang to her to calm her down, then my son called in time to calm me down. By the time we were finished talking, the swelling under her eye and in her throat had gone down. The dogs and I later went walking, but left the house a different way. I think I will give her more meds before bed. The worst it will do is make her sleepy. Anyone know how to get rid of yellow jackets?

Gail, try going gluten free for a few weeks. There is some evidence that it may a healthy way to eat for more people than just those of us that have diagnosed with celiac disease. That way, you can avoid the cake. I know someone who lost pounds and bloat trying it. My GD has been baking GF brownies for me when she has a party for one of my GGSs. I wish she wouldn't. I'm fine with a little ice cream. BTW, you'll notice a big difference in the foot at about the six month mark, but it may be a year before it is normal. Healing takes more time than we want to give it.

Whoops, where are my manners? Welcome to our newcomers, countryhousequilter, Pink Lady and Cornelia Ann. Welcome back to the rest of you. I hope for more participants tomorrow or Tuesday. Holidays throw everyone off.

September already. Wow! It will be Christmas before we know it. Scary, as I have such a large family to buy for.

Eat clean, drink your water and move your body. The only one of these I do consistently is the moving and that's because I have two furry walking partners. I did have a lot of fruit and veggies today, but not enough water.

I AM losing weight and getting healthier. Where is everose reminding us to take care of ourselves? And nancia making us think and smile in the same post?

sewNso 09-03-2012 04:41 AM

Ladies........just a little house keeping note---- if you decide to send in 4 months at a time, you will still need to sign up each month on the new thread to show you are still wanting to join in. I know this is probably already understood, just wanting to make sure all knows.

I am also looking to plan the Theme for the entire year, so I would love some suggestions. I already hear some want shades of pink......so have 11 more months to plan. What would you like to see as a theme.???? This is our group not my group.

Enjoy your labor day. I will be working on the T-shirt quilt. I have 2 sides with the frame on all shirts, not to cut the strips to size for the other 2 sides. Then the fun begins with playing with the layout.

createfourpaws 09-03-2012 06:26 AM

IrishRose.........how is your furbaby doing today after getting stung? You did have an adventures afternoon. Glad you were able to calm her down.

Yes where has the time gone, can hardly believe it is September already and Halloween is less than 60 days away. Football has begun. Christmas will be here before we know it.

Speaking of Christmas......what do you have on you Christmas list to make??? I haven't even thought of what I am going to give this year.

Welcome Newcomers. If you have not sent me a private message or I sent you pne please do so for the mailing address. Thank you.

Welcome back. Good luck with you weight loss.

irishrose 09-03-2012 08:19 AM

Lily is fine. I didn't need to give her the second med. She has a damaged trachea from an accident we had on a bicycle so it was scary when her throat started to swell. I thought about calling my #3 daughter for a Epipen, but that would have left S without one for the rest of the weekend. She needs at least two if she gets stung. Now we will see if Miss Liliana is smart enough to stay away from the corner with the wasps. I have to go in that area to water my flowers, but she doesn't.

Congratulations, countryhousequilter. 8 pounds is a perfect loss. No more than two pounds is week is ideal. Ignore the new member welcome. I took last month off so I didn't keep the list.

I have a baby quilt to FMQ. I'm finding I don't like having a drawn pattern, but I can't switch now. I prefer to do my own thing, not stay on a line. I have snowballs for a donation quilt on another machine and I find myself drawn to that one - I avoid things I don't like to do, but that won't get the baby quilt finished. I think my oldest daughter is coming in to dig up some of my flowers. She likes honeysuckle and can't find any. I can live without mine as it's in an area I don't go on a regular basis. Her fire ruined her gardens, too. You don't think about that.

Food today? Oatmeal with walnuts and fruit for brunch then chili and veggies for dinner. I'd rather have a grilled hamburger, but I need to finish the chili and my cholesterol is high again, so no HBs for a while. Snack may be a small ice cream when K comes in.

Have a healthy eating day, everyone.

Vanogay 09-03-2012 08:29 AM

Wow, congrats COUNTRYHOUSEQUILTER - 8#, that's fantastic. I'm glad when the scales show my puny 2#. I'll have to really try this month to see if I can match you. What a challenge! I'm leaving Thursday for Atlanta as my BIL died and we're going there to be with sister and for the memorial service on Saturday. There'll be plenty of food everywhere - and I'll really need to keep all of you in my thoughts so I don't overdo it.
Looked through my project stash (different from my fabric stash) and saw 2 for Christmas. One is a flat applique and the other is a pieced Christmas-type panel. Don't know if I'll tackle one, both or none. Make that decision later after Quilt of Valor is completed (need it for a November veterans service) Then maybe I can think about something for me!
Take care, everyone and I'll check in when we return from Atlanta.

How about one month it be Batiks. I love purple! we could do a purple and green month. Flowers in the spring. maybe one month can be bright kid themed fabrics. Another could be soft, sweet baby themed fabrics. One month could be blender/tone on tone type fabrics. Black and white another month.
Just some ideas

Jim's Gem 09-03-2012 10:11 AM

What a great loss Countryhousequilter!! Congratulations!!!!!
I need to get back to eating better and try to get some exercise. I still can't walk very well, but if I was good, I could get on my stationery bike and ride......
I hope to start back at working out in the pool once it opens back up next week. Maybe if some of you could hound me on that!!! I can walk in a pool, that doesn't hurt the foot quite so much
My machine is still in the hospital. I have only done a little bit of sewing on my old Pfaff. I do hope to get some sewing in maybe later today. We'll see. DH is home today and tomorrow so I may not get a lot of sewing in, depending on what he wants to do.

irishrose 09-03-2012 10:51 AM

Gail, I'm surprised riding an exercise bike wasn't part of your therapy. It was for me. I got my flowers in pots watered, but the yellow jackets didn't think I should deadhead the petunias. I compromised. I did the big ones and ignores the little Wave petunias that the wasps seemed to prefer. I don't know why those are marketed as self cleaning. I've always had to deadhead them.

I changed my brunch to baked acorn squash with almonds. It is almost done, so I'll check in later - and yes, Lily stayed away from the bad corner. Smart furgirl!

Edit: I like the idea of batiks - there is no such thing as too many of those, I like florals, I like blenders a lot, I like the purple /green, but would combine the kid's prints and baby prints. I personally don't have a big need for either, so one month combined would work, IMO.

Jim's Gem 09-03-2012 11:50 AM

At therapy, which I have been 3 times now, they do put me on a recumbent bike for 6 minutes

Vanogay 09-03-2012 11:58 AM

Gayle, I'm glad you're at least thinking of doing more to get your foot back working right. I was on a walker for a week when I had surgery on my big toe and then only allowed to walk from the bed to the couch to the bathroom for the second week. After that, I could do whatever my foot would allow. It's been 5 months now and I'm pretty much back to normal. Keep up the therapy and you'll do well
I like Gayle's idea of the batiks, blenders, purples (my favorite color) and agree again with Irishrose to combine the baby and kids prints. Everyone celebrates some type of holiday - how about pick one holiday (no matter what month) and that type fabric is the fabric de jour.
I've been in a blue funk the past few days and haven't been paying much attention to what I eat - or what I'm cooking to eat. Need to snap out of it and start back in with the 'good' stuff. Keep healthy eveyone.

irishrose 09-03-2012 12:41 PM

My PT person was a slave driver - but a sweet one. He had me in therapy twice a week - he wanted three times, but it was too much because I was working and managing school halls in a wheelchair is tiring. I had to ride the big Schwinn Airdyne at home every day for 20 minutes and then I had floor exercises with bands, too. The director of PT had to come out of his office because the others didn't know what to do with me. I 'fired' them anyway because all three said 'never' or 'can't' to me and me feet and ankles weren't allowed to hear that.

Vanogay, this is a wonderful time of year to eat 'the good stuff'. Farm markets are full of it. It make me unhappy when Michigan based supermarkets are full of California produce when ours is so much better just because it's fresh and not picked early to transport. Can't go to my favorite farm market today. I live in a tourist area and the traffic will be backed up for 1 mile where I need to turn left.

The acorn squash was lunch was yummy and filling.

Vanogay 09-03-2012 02:23 PM

I'm glad you had a good lunch Irishrose. The produce we've been eating is really local - I walk outside and pick something. Tonight, I had some pork and beans (not good, I know) with a turkey burger (no bread) and some cottage cheese and tomatoes fresh from the garden. Washed it down with decaf tea. Still didn't make me feel better, but at least the diet was good.
Have a great week everyone - eat healthy.

Everose 09-03-2012 03:27 PM

Greetings everyone! I'm reading the thread this month and working at loosing the weight that I gained on vacation. #5 to go and then I'll be back - so thinking Oct. will be a good goal for me.

Welcome to all you newcomers!!! And a big CONGRATULATIONS to our August winner. Yes, I'm the one who says "treat yourself good or be good to YOU". My DD has now gone vegan so am trying to eat as healthy as she is but got a call yesterday that my Dad was in the hospital in AZ. (I'm a stress eater - today it was Diet Coke, which I know is not good for me.) His second request to his friend was "don't call my kids". So we are working around it by calling the care center he has been at. He's a very STUBBORN German and at 91 won't change. He went in with chest pain, but they found something on his lung, so treating it with antibodics (sp) and we'll see what happens. My Mom is adjusting to the memory unit better than I am. She seems content, but the Alzheimers has really progressed. She didn't know my brother last week, which hurt both of us. Life ....

Yes we bought the house/property in Michigan and will retire there in the next 2 - 5 years. Going out again the end of Oct and hoping to take a load of "stuff" along, as we will be cleaning and getting it ready for renting. I actualy am looking forward to the move, now it depends on DH's retirement and how Mom is doing.

For Christmas this year I plan on making a lot of the Spicy Swirl table runners in shades of red and green. I have fabric selected for one, but if I have enough fabric, I might make two right away. Did finish a Christmas throw for a SIL and took it to Michigan when we were there in August. That way I didn't have to pay the postage, and she can put it out before the holiday and enjoy it.

Better find something for supper. The zucchini and cukes are producing great. Made a double batch of salsa last week and probably will have to do another batch this week.

Take care everyone and remember - be good to YOU.

meanmom 09-03-2012 05:10 PM

I'm in for September. I was down 2 pounds for August. KInda surprised it was that much. I am a stress eater and my stress level has been thru the roof. I have even been clenching my teeth in my sleep and waking up with sore jaws. I have been wearing my mouth guard again. It has been a while since I had to wear it. I am working on destressing my life. MY son and daughter in law are home in Japan. My oldest daughter is moved out of town. Youngest daughter is moved across town. I am back to work but looking for a new job. I applied for 4 last week. Hopefully I will get one of them. There has been way too much going on around here. My daughter is trying to sell her house and one of their cars. I have been showing them both to people. Usually I handle stress a lot better. I'm not sure why it is making me so nuts right now.
I decided it was time to do something for me. I joined a gym and hired a personal trainer. He set me up with a plan and I meet with him again in 2 weeks to add more and see how I am doing. I joined Planet Fitness. It is inexpensive and I get free as many visits with a personal trainer as I want. I know the exercise will help with the stress too.
Congratulations countryhousequilter on your great loss

Pam H 09-03-2012 07:41 PM

I'm in for September. I just realized I needed to get on the new thread. Busy times lately. I was in Texas for 2 weeks. I now feel like our house is ready to show even though it has been on the market for 3 months. I really think that if I could have gone down earlier to get it ready it would have sold by now. It looks great!. Hubby and I drove a rented moving truck with some of our stuff this weekend. That was not fun. I think I gained 3 lbs over the weekend. I am carrying so much fluid. My legs are really bad. We got hubby moved into his apartment. Well, he finished it up today when he took some more furniture and the cats. Yes, he took the cats to live in the apartment. They make me pretty miserable since I am allergic. I can't wait to get the house all clean from their fur and see if I can feel better.
Congrats to countryhousequilter!

CountryHouseQuilter 09-04-2012 04:36 AM

New sewing room. Sounds nice!! And just think of the fun you'll have getting it all set up. I know last year when we put in new hardwood floors I painted and cleaned the entire house. I actually lost weight because I was so active. And when I wasn't painting and fixing I was to tired to eat so I was sleeping!!

CountryHouseQuilter 09-04-2012 05:40 AM

Irish....glad to hear the dog is doing better. Years ago we had to dogs that wouldn't go near their dog house after being stung by what we refer to as "grudge bees". Poor boys went out and decided to go to their box, where they promtly got stung, several times. They had lumps on their ears, muzzles and back. After that they wouldn't go near the box. Even after DH went out and killed the bees. I don't blame them. I'm allergic so I avoid bees at all cost.

Want to thank everyone for all the "congratulations" and words of encouragement. This was my first diet month so I expected it to be a good one. I'm hoping to keep my numbers going, as I have a ways to go, and my first goal is 50#s by Dec. 31st. Also, DH will quit smoking when I hit 50#s, doesn't matter when, he promised to quit. So keep my on pace people - I want him to quit!!! Plus I want to get healthy!!

I'm going to cut out bread. I think it's one of my biggest weaknesses. I've been trying to do lots of fruits and veggies. Garden season will soon come to an end and I'll miss my parents tomatoes!! DH says when the tree people come to thin our woods out he's going to have some trees removed up near the house so I can get better light and put in my own garden. My parents are right across the road, but they're both in their mid 80's and eventually I'll need to grow my own things. Need to get good at it while I have them to give me direction. I think my father is the tomato king!!!!

Well, I've rambled enough. Back to work. Drink plenty of water!! Eat your fruits and veggies...and get your butt movin'!!

irishrose 09-04-2012 07:32 AM

CHQ, if you can't cut out bread, limit yourself to whole grains and only for breakfast and lunch. No bread after 1:00. I feel better and am more likely to lose weight if I restrict my carbs to the AM. Thank you for reminding me now that I am trying to get back on track. 42 pounds in four months is a little ambitious. Don't set yourself up for failure. Your husband had better start cutting down - you are well on your way. My third daughter is extremely allergic. She went through the killed vaccine shots as a child, no luck, then was a rare failure on the live vaccine - I had drive 200 miles every Wed to get those. Lily is a 55 pound healthy dog, so she recovered quickly. She was a little confused when her eye was swollen shut and I didn't like the breathing difficulties. Brought back to many memories.

My goal for the month is three pounds. I am going to write a big three somewhere on my calendar right now so I see it often. Yeah, I'm still using an old fashioned wall calendar - works for me.

Meeting at church this afternoon. How can a group of Christian women disagree so much - sometimes not too nicely?? As the second child in a dysfunctional family, I am the peace maker, so these things really bother me.

Grow a garden? The bunnies enjoyed my zucchini and other squash. The tomatoes and peppers are up by the dogs' area, so they are safe. I did find Liliana eating the cherry tomatoes, but one reprimand and now I have plenty.

It rained overnight. Thank goodness. Eat clean and have a great day.
Judy

createfourpaws 09-04-2012 11:02 AM

I didn't get done what all I wanted to get done over the weekend. I got the book 50 shades of Grey...and couldn't put it down. Read it in 2 days, now i need to get the other 2 books in the series.

I am getting ready to get back to the t-shirt quilt. I have to finish the final 2 sides and then i get to start playing with they layout.

Pam 304 09-04-2012 12:06 PM

Taboo Tues. No Chocolate Candy!!!!!! Sorry

meanmom 09-04-2012 02:40 PM

Cindy isn't 50 Shades of Gray a good book. I read all 3. I finished book one in a day. I was so bad I sat up until at least 2:00 AM finishing it. I read book 2 and 3 when I was in Hilton Head. One day at the pool I counted 5 other people reading them. We took a picture of Someone we met reading book one, my DD reading 2 and me reading 3. My DIL was just here from Japan. I sent them home with her. SHe had never heard of them. I guess I am corrupting Japan. She is going to pass them on to her friends when she finishes them.
Pam no chocolate, are you trying to kill me! That is a good taboo for me as I am trying to cut way down. A week without chocolate would be good for me. I am also trying to cut way, way down on complex carbs. I love, love all carbs. I am trying to only eat them occasionally. Of course there were bagels at work 3 times last week and again today. Whoever brought them today was nice and cut them all up into little slices so I only had a really little piece at lunch.
My personal trainer recommended I hit the gym 5 days a week. I have survived week one. So far it is going well. My abs are so weak. Worse than I thought.
Good luck to everyone.
Pat

Everose 09-04-2012 06:40 PM

Hey everyone - hope your holiday was good. I haven't heard of 50 Shades of Gray, so will have to go to the library this week and see it they have it. Love to read different things. My cousin recommended Richard Paul Evans - the walking series. Loved them. Now he won't have one out until 2013. Hard to wait for the new books when you start a series.

Just made a huge batch of salsa. The house smells so good I can't stand it. Used a couple recipes and just "taste tested" it. Well, this batch can make your eyes water. Somehow I really got the "hot" into this batch. Might have to mix the next batch with this one.

Hubby is out of town this week, so eating should be "healthier". Although he now has decided that a huge salad with spinach leaves is okay.

Take care - be good to you.

irishrose 09-04-2012 07:37 PM

You haven't heard of 50 Shades of Gray? I haven't read it yet, but I've heard it discussed. That's all I'm going to say. I need to get a USB cord for my Nook so I can download it. The mother of my 11 year old tutoree borrowed his Kindle so she could read the book. I hope she cleared it off before she returned it. I certainly don't want him reading it to me.LOL I will tell her MIL to buy her a Kindle for her b'day.

Di, a vegan/vegetarian diet isn't right for everyone. If you feel better and your bloodwork is good, then it's okay, but there is nothing wrong in eating meat unless it affects your sensibilities. I can't eat veal or lamb, but adult animal are pretty tasty. Everything in moderation. What are you working on these days?

Okays, ladies, tell me to go FMQ the baby quilt. I hate following the lines, but it's too late to change the pattern in FMQ. The sooner I get it done, the sooner I can do something I like. The red/yellow and 4 patch quilt for the bazaar is going to be cute. It's another Bonnie Hunter pattern.

Doctors- Grrr. My GD spent the day in the hospital having a potassium IV. I asked her if anyone told her to eat bananas, potatoes and take a potassium pill. No - do they think that she had so much fun she wants a repeat? She is extremely overweight and the doctor has trouble finding a heartbeat, so she is sent for an ultrasound every Dr visit even though the baby is kicking hard at the Dr's instruments. Ultrasounds, while sometimes necessary, are not without side effects. If the baby is kicking, his heart is beating. I'm not seeing her making another two months. Let's hope she doesn't deliver before her shower on the 16th. Her sister in Kansas City, MO is pregnant, too. Another quilt will be needed, but don't know the gender of this one yet.

Have a good evening, everyone.

Irish....not setting myself up for failure, just needed to put a "face" on it. If I do it by Dec. 31st than that's AWESOME. If it takes me a little bit longer, I'm good with that too. I think hubby has started cutting back, I don't notice him going outside as much as he usually does.

And to keep myself on track I wrote down some diet quotes in pretty colors on nice paper. Then I took my iPhone and took pictures of them. I change them around at my "open" screen so if I ever need a little "push" I just hit the button and instant inpiration and reminder. I have "Ask yourself these questions: Do I really need it? Do I really want it? Will it help me get to my goal? One "no", PUT IT DOWN". "Nothing tastes as good as thin feels". and a variety of others. I have my phone with me most all the time so it's easy to have a reminder with me for those "times".

We live out in the country, in the woods. My dogs roam, well, 2 roam, one has to be put on a line because he would head straight for the road (not a bright one, but loveable). And they eat anything. I like to keep a bucket at the sink to put my scraps in. After making homemade sauce I had a bucket full of tomato tops. DH went to dump them in the woods for me and the dog followed. He couldn't get him to come back in because he was eating tomato tops. Now DH makes them stay inside so he can "hide" the stuff from them. It's like a game....LOL. My old dog doesn't bother with it, but the puppy does. Our older dog is 13 and has some issues. Not sure how much longer I'll have him, but I love him so!!! He's been my buddy for 12 1/2 yrs, since my Bummer died. I'd had him for 7 yrs. and he got hit by a car. I missed him so much I spent a lot of time at the humane society. DH found Ray Lewis through a friend that was going to have him put down as they couldn't afford to keep him. He scooped him up and brought him home to surprise me, and he's been my buddy ever since. He's a pure bred Chocolate Lab. Roscoe came when Ray was about 6. He's an English Lab, saved from an abusive family. He was about 6 months when I got him. Loveable but not very bright - guess it's because he's English :-). Our latest edition, Flacco, is a Black Lab. He's almost 2 now. He was 6 weeks when he came here. He's DH's boy, but he loves me (don't tell DH). His brother from a litter before lives on the farm next to us. The are buddies and play and swim together in the creek every day.

Well, I've rambled enough. I have some things to take care of, a quilt to load on the longarm, and my Quilt group comes tonight at 6PM. Have an awesome day ladies!!!! Drink plenty of water, and eat healthy!!!!

I had a pedicure today. She ordered me to my sewing room tonite. I havent sewn in a couple of weeks. SHe said I was so stressed my feet were awful tight. She almost hurt her hands trying to loosen them up. I have been extremely stressed lately. SOme of it I can explain some I can't. I usually handle it better. I am working on getting rid of some of it.
I have 3 dozen ears of corn to freeze and about 4 quart of raspberries to freeze. Then I am going to go hide in my sewing room for a couple of hours. Got to get rid of this stress! ( getting a new job would help)
