YES! Unplug. Lightning does BAD things to computers, sewing machines, etc.

When our kids lived in Mo. we were under tornado watch.
We had a greeat time we went into the basement and quilted with the TV on to the news and the guys played pool.
We all had a great time. But you do need a finished basement to be able to do this.
WE live in Ca. and we don't have basements DARN I would love to have one where I could go and just quilt.
