So sorry to hear - all too often that's the way it is - always about "the other" bashing, and never what's best for the kids. Best wishes on it turning out the right way!!

My youngest dd is trying to get her three step-daughters who really need a stable home. Their mom moves frmo place to place and the girls have lived with both grammas and dad. Hope it happens soon. Praying all goes well and the kids outcome is for the best. ♥♥

You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Please keep us updated, if possible.

Here's hoping things turn out for the best for the children. Oddly, I live on the other side of the coin--I'm married to a judge who takes his job very seriously. He prays every day for God to help him make good and just decisions. He also has to follow a set of state guidelines (like a checklist) to decide cases. Most people think judges are subjective when it's just the opposite--they have many rules to follow. Sorry to get on a soapbox. Am thinking about you and your family!

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Sadly in these cases there is never a winner. And that includes the judge that needs to make the decision. I cannot imagine how hard it is on him/her to decide what is best for children. I know how hard it is, I went thru this myself after my divorce, my ex wanted the children, and of course I wanted them. It is never any fun for anyone. Luckily I won, but I wonder with todays standards if I would have : ), things are completely different than they were 40yrs ago.

Also hoping for the best for all concerned.

Thank you for a look at the other side.

My daughter works for a lawyer, and has to deal with some sad situations. We are praying that the judge will make a decision that is best for the children.

Thinking of you... take care of yourself as just being present can be very stressful... how nice for your daughter to have your support... keep breathing.
