Great deals! I never find anything like this! Ours is kinda high priced. I can get the boys jeans for $2.50 but a lil jumper for my 3 year old cost me $3. (a lot less material in a lil jean jumper than the boys pants).
I found 2 flowery sheets there last time but they were $2.50 each. I bought them both and will use them in with some other sheet fat quarters that I bought from someone. All flowery. :) |

It just goes to show that there are more ways than one to build a stash. I prefer the thrift store way as it is fun to look and search and costs a whole lot less.

Every Sunday at our local DAV (Disabled Veterans) Thrift Store is 25 cent day. Certain colored tags are 25 cents each or 5 for $1. Last Sunday I got 3+ yards of red plaid flannel for 25 cents, also a new jacket for 25 cents, a man's shirt with the tags still on it (never worn) for 25 cents ($75 on the tag) and little girl's tap shoes for 25 cents. My granddaughter's size and she will love them !!!!!
I don't shop at the mall anymore.............. |

My thrift stores are pretty pricey but occasionally you can find a really good deal on 50% off days. I seem to find better deals at yard sales but those are only in the spring/summer.

I got a "dollhouse" at Goodwill last week. It is 5 feet tall about 3 feet wide and has 4 stories plus attic, total of 7 rooms. Carpet on the floors, no furniture, but that is OK cause I got it for the cats I have taken in who needed new homes. I have found homes for 7-8 cats in past year. Anyway my son took the house out of the truck and 3 cats were in it in less than 2 min. The cost? $15. Could not buy the wood for that. It is going on the screened porch the cats have access to when they are thru roaming the barn and yard. Take care.
