Maybe you need to give your daughter sewing lessons???

I had to really fight the urge to take some hand-quilting to my daughter's softball game. I can't take it with me because I know I'll get so engrossed in it that I'll miss a big play in the game. Once I'm at the game, I spend the whole time cheering so I don't even miss the quilting. It crosses my mind every time though.

I have the pincushions I could make but that involves sewing the top part together on the machine. I'll be overrun with pincushions if I do that all week! I might start calling them Tribbles.

I could do some applique patterns that I got. 9 patterns of beautiful florals that I didn't know when I was ever going to get to.

Hmmm... that means a trip to Joann's (maybe at lunch today) to get white for the background and washing and drying the packets of fabrics I have in a rainbow of colors for the leaves and flowers.

Oh, those are stunning Pam - which ones did you get? The technique sounds interesting and intriguing! You will tell us all about it, won't you?!

I only use the webcam for seeing and talking to the grandkids in another state. And for one Special man in my life but... I won't go into particulars. :P

Of course I will share when I start working on them... that's part of the fun.

I got the corner version of all of these, only 9 of them, so I figure 3x3 with plain setting squares on-point.

Bird Of Paradise
Chrysanthemum
Columpine
Fuchsia
Lilac
Morning Glory
Squash Blossom
Tulip
Orchid
