It has been COLD here in CB, MT. I froze last night and don't have the pilot lite on so more and more blankets and socks was all I could do!

My husband told me that we Norwegians in the southern part, around Jutenheim, got a surprise too! Just like you. There were cars still with summer tires strewn all over the road and people needing to be rescued.

You must be near Mt Bachelor in central Oregon. We had rain in SW Washington state. Not really ready for winter, but the grass will green up.

Short summer here in the pacific northwest wasn't it? Snow on the mountains the beginning of June and the end of August.
