I have a BSN in Nursing, but didn't stop there.

Went to grad school and got my MSN in Nursing with a Clinical Specialty in Nurse-Midwifery.

Became certified as a Nurse-Midwife and OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner, delivered many hundreds of babies and then gave it all up to homeschool my four little girls. Best decision I ever made!

Bachelors degree in business administration, masters degree in computer science.

Those degrees paid off for me over the years. Loved my job - system analysis - how many can say that after 20 years? Would probably still be working by fibromyalgia makes it very difficult to work on the computer 8 - 10 hours a day...

I have a Bachelor's in Theatre with emphasis in both Acting/Directing and Technical/Design.

And now... I'm employed full-time in the theatre, and have been since I graduated. I have benefits, paid time off, all the "normal" job things. So everyone who sneered "What are you going to do with a degree in theatre??!!" can just stuff it. ;)
