I'm reading "My Sister's Keeper" by Jodi Picoult. I think they made a movie out of it. It's very interesting. 8-)

I read it. Good book. The movie was quite different.

My only problem is that I sometimes buy one or two that I have already read and turned back in.
---------------------
When I donate them back to the library, I always fold over the top of the back of the book, that way I know I've read it. My sister prints her initial on the back with a felt tip.

I have heard of people keeping a notebook listing the books that they have already read.

Loved reading all the comments! I've been reading all of Jennifer Chiavarini's Elm Creek Quilts books and am going to see her lecture at a quilt shop near me in two weeks. I did that last year after reading River of Doubt - book about Teddy Roosevelt. So cool to meet the authors; they work very hard at research when it's a non-fiction book.

On a lighter note, I've read most of Janet Evanovich's - so funny! And then there's times to be more serious - The Shack, and Jodi Piccoult's - she tackles some very heavy topics! Wish there were more time in the day to read and sew; skip the housework and other boring tasks required of life!
Thanks for some recommendations I'm putting on the to-read list!

Just finished Sakkawan Island by D. Vann. Very intense. Before that Alone by Lisa Garner and Scattered Life by Karen McQuestion.

Room by Emily Donaghue. Disturbing! But have to know how it ends...

Reading First Among Equals by Jeffery Archer. This is about the third time I've read it.
