oK, I just know we love pudding lol. I cook my own. Tonight I made chocolate. I cook the cocoa and add Bird's English custard (I acutally found it in puplix)

I like just the custard flavor or the chocolat.

I wait until the skim on top gets real thick lol...then I push it to the side, and scoop out a little pudding bowl full. Then I take my wooden spoon and the pot and go in the studio and eat the skim first and then the pudding and then the bottom of the pot ahahahahha

Hubby came in and said, "I heard a scrapping, look at you, chocolate on your nose and all over you face." he was laughing and I was enjoying...tomorrow I will eat that cold one before he can get to it...he always hides it way in the back but I always find it......when he does remember, it's too late. hahahahahha

Swedish rice pudding is hard to beat, but hey, I would never say no to Chocolate... mmmmm!

suebee 10-10-2011 06:40 PM

Reminds me of when we were little and stayed with Grandma, she always made chocolate pudding (cooked) and we got to lick the pan clean. Those were the days. I still like chocolate, but also love tapioca.

RenaB 10-10-2011 06:42 PM

Banana

AlwaysQuilting 10-10-2011 06:56 PM

Chocolate (cooked...I love the skin it forms on top) , and banana pudding.

Mitch's mom 10-10-2011 07:25 PM

Chocolate. Has to be the cooked type and I prefer to eat it while it is still hot. Weird - I know.

COYOTEMAGIC 10-10-2011 07:28 PM

Bread puddin' from Jim'Lunch in Millville, NJ It's made with left over danishes from the day before!!

BKrenning 10-10-2011 07:30 PM

Coconut cream and chocolate but they have to be made from scratch--I hate the fake taste in the box mixes. Sounds like a good snack for tomorrow. It's supposed to turn cooler and rainy tonight.

Rice pudding is my favorite. One where you put the rice mixture into a pan, set that pan into a larger pan with water and then bake the pudding. Made this way makes a nice thin layer of egg custard on top. Recipe is an old one that was on a box of River Rice, brand that I never see anymore.

Murphy 10-10-2011 07:32 PM

I LOVE Bird's custard. My neighbor (originally from England) turned me on to this. It is just yummy!! I love Chocolate in it, or next to it, or on the plate, or in a cup (laughter).

NikkiLu 10-10-2011 07:35 PM

tapioca

hensandhollyhocks 10-10-2011 07:40 PM

sandilee 10-10-2011 10:10 PM

I love all puddings! Have some white chocolate in cupboard, may make it later.

gramajo 10-10-2011 10:13 PM

 You all made me have a craving for pudding at 1AM. (I just got home from work). Anyway I went rummaging & found in the back of the cabinet a Snack Pack of tapioca. I know it's not the same as homemade, but, hey, it's better than nothing. I buy Snack Paks to include in lunch I take to work.

Chocolate, tapioca, vanilla, in that order. I had my 2nd favorite while reading this board. :D

bodie358 10-10-2011 10:14 PM

My mother was British and Birds custard was served hot atop apple pie. Special treat!

My favorite pudding is nanner puddin - bananas, vanilla pudding and vanilla wafer cookie crust.

MandyM 10-10-2011 11:04 PM

This is too tough..have to admit I love all puddings, especially if I can have a dollop or two of Bird's Custard with it!

Janetlmt 10-11-2011 02:04 AM

As a child my mother made pudding several times a week. I made it for my children. DH would never eat it until recently. Now he askes for pudding. I love chocolate, rice and tapioca. I found a great recipe from Ina Garten for bread pudding made with stale cresents. It is good too.
Now I am hungry. Pudding tonight!

Moonglow 10-11-2011 02:06 AM

Christmas pudding with brandy custard.

meemersmom 10-11-2011 02:20 AM

Rice pudding from the Greek diner down the road (they bake it) is my favorite. Chocolate when I make it myself. I love the skin that forms on cooked pudding...I am not ashamed to admit that I sometimes pour the pudding into a large baking dish to set. That way, its all skin....yummm!

mrsmacka 10-11-2011 02:22 AM

Chocolate pudding served with cooked pears
Have made it for years my kids love it too
Second favourite would be Pavlova

Painiacs 10-11-2011 03:31 AM

Could you PM the recipe for the Swedish Rice Pudding? Sounds like a good Christmas Eve dessert with cookies.

Tak sa mycket! Edie

Again, living alone, I'd forgotten bread pudding. Gosh I love that, made with leftover biscuits. Otherwise, chocolate pudding.

Yooper32 10-11-2011 03:56 AM

Bread pudding with raisins in it. Mmmmmmm, also like rice pudding and home made chocolate, in that order.
