I have the master bedroom as a sewing room and the door opens into the living room so I can close the door if someone pops in unexpectedly. I try to stay organized since there's way to much fabric and furniture in the quilt cave. I think I manage pretty well. Either hubby or I vacuum the whole house twice a week so I make a point to clean and straighten when at the same time.

Hubby mops the floor. I sew fabric. Once in a while, I re-arrange some things. Is that cleaning? :-)

I found that if I clean as I go, like the kitchen when I cook, then it doesn't get overwhelming. I find I'm more creative and motivated in a clean organized sewing room.
