stitchinwitch 01-25-2011 08:16 AM

QBeth 01-25-2011 08:20 AM

Bette Midler

cjomomma 01-25-2011 08:24 AM

It would have to be Kathy Bates. She would make my life so much more interesting.

lyndad 01-25-2011 08:45 AM

Sandra Bullock

roseOfsharon 01-25-2011 08:47 AM

Katy Bates!! Isn't that funny that we have as many thinking of her! Second for me is Sally Fields.

Renee Zellweger or Kirsten Vangsness :-) I love these two ladies and think their peppiness and general attitude would portray me well.

I'd want Julia Roberts. She's not the typical Hollywood type. She's a homebody like me. She could put on a gray wig and play me.

bj 01-25-2011 09:12 AM

Doris Roberts from "Everybody Loves Raymond". I like her spunk, even though she's older than I am.

Oh, gotta agree, though I hadn't thought of her til you said it! Even her 'frame' fits me.

I think that at my time of life I could be played quite well by the
marvelous Angela Lansbury. She is not a weak or whining character. I used to love Murder She Wrote. That was one of the more sensible shows. Now I don't miss TV at all, but can get most if not all the old shows on CDs.

I'd like Betty White- not because I'm her age or look like her, but I like the characters she plays.

In my dreams I look more like Valerie Bertinelli. :)

amma 01-25-2011 01:12 PM

Hmmm Maybe Jamie Lee Curtis? or Sally Fields? it is a toss up :D:D:D

Hosta 01-25-2011 01:39 PM

Katherine Hepburn just because she was a person ahead of her time and she stood up for herself at a time when women didn't besides she had STYLE

LaineyBelle 01-25-2011 01:46 PM

I'd like Sandra Bullock. She would race a car or go 4 wheelin' or any of that kind of fun. That would be me.

Tropical 01-25-2011 02:10 PM

It would be Judy Dench for me. I love her characters' sense of humor. When we watch her shows, my DH always tells me -"she sounds just like you."

Edie 01-26-2011 03:40 AM

Jean Stapleton - as Edith Bunker

She was the only one in the whole show who made sense out of anything and made it work to the good. She outwitted, outfoxed and outplayed her husband, son in law and daughter just with her being plain and just an every day ordinary housewife and mother with good old common sense. Besides, we have the same name. Edie

Riversong 01-26-2011 04:27 AM

I also adore Angela Lansbury in Murder She Wrote,,,down to earth, and classy all mixed together.(Im the down to earth, but Im not classy) LOL!

Karyn 01-26-2011 05:02 AM

Betty White- I love her spunk and her wit. She is a hoot on Hot In Cleveland.

Grandmama Pat 01-26-2011 06:23 AM

Betty White. I loved her character in "Golden Girls."

I was thinking of Kathy Bates, too (fits the physical profile), but for us she'd have to be a gentler version of her many acting roles, don't you think, Sharon? If you are watching Harry's Law, her character is not a "hugger" She'd have to change that for sure!

SherryLea 01-26-2011 10:25 AM

I don'tlook anything like her but I love the part she played in
gone with the wind and
Rhett Butler is my kind of man. Janet Leigh

gollytwo 01-26-2011 10:27 AM

Bea Arthur, except she's dead.

mrspete 01-26-2011 10:57 AM

This is wonderful. It tells me that we are all positive about our 'atributes' not our faults. Love you all! Living or not, these persons are forever in our minds and hearts. You all will be as well. ((( HUGS )))

MaineGirl76 01-26-2011 11:09 AM

Everyone tells me that I look like Valerie Bertinelli.

IBQUILTIN 01-26-2011 11:52 AM

Doris Day, or does that date me too much
