I'd want Julia Roberts. She's not the typical Hollywood type. She's a homebody like me. She could put on a gray wig and play me.

Doris Roberts from "Everybody Loves Raymond". I like her spunk, even though she's older than I am.

I think that at my time of life I could be played quite well by the
marvelous Angela Lansbury. She is not a weak or whining character. I used to love Murder She Wrote. That was one of the more sensible shows. Now I don't miss TV at all, but can get most if not all the old shows on CDs.

It would be Judy Dench for me. I love her characters' sense of humor. When we watch her shows, my DH always tells me -"she sounds just like you."

I was thinking of Kathy Bates, too (fits the physical profile), but for us she'd have to be a gentler version of her many acting roles, don't you think, Sharon? If you are watching Harry's Law, her character is not a "hugger" She'd have to change that for sure!
