That is awful! I hope someone will find her and take care of her. Thankfully you were there :)

Please do find out what the deal was. I imagine the father finally did report her missing, and maybe he didn't at first because he wasn't around? But where was her mother all this time?

Lucky baby to have "found" you.

its a shame, I do hope they find her parent(S)soon. Sad sad sad. Maybe you are the highway guardian angel to children. I am told we all have a purpose in life, maybe that is yours ! Bless you for being the kind, gentle person that you are !!

It is so sad to hear stories like this. I was an investigator with Child protective services in Florida for many years before I retired. I was forever dismayed at the abuse children are subjected to. I have never figured out why, I just did what I could to stop as much as I could.

Oh dear!!! This must be terribly hard on you. I hope you are feeling better. I know if I had this experiance, it would still have me shaken and dazed.

Bless you for being such a good person. I shutter to think what some of the alternatives could have been for this baby.

Please keep us posted about her and what happens. Poor baby girl ... She couldn't even talk.

So many children are abused, neglected, or abandoned. I think the parents ought to be "fixed". So sad.

You must be God's appointed angel for these kids. God Bless you.

Good Lord! Words fail!

As the parent of a child, who once escaped the house before I woke up at six a. m., BLESS YOU FOR BEING THERE. My daughter managed to walk almost a mile down a busy industrial street in my home town. I put a lock, that she couldn't reach, on all doors the same day. She was four at the time. I have always known that I have a guardian angel who does overtime. My capital letters above are not yelling, they are stressing heartfelt emotion.

You were definitely placed there for her protection. I would have been hysterical if I could not have found my child, so I can't imagine her not even having someone not looking for her. Unfortunately there are some real deadbeat parents out there for lack of a better or nicer word. Just glad you were there.
