When my oldest son was 3 and a daughter was only a few months old I took advantage of their nap time to lie down and make a few zzzzz's myself. I was awakened by a neighbor, who I did not know, knocking on the front door. It was late spring in West Texas (very warm) and a lady was at my door holding a little boy wearing only his underwear. The child looked familiar, even seen through half-asleep eyes. Yes, it was my son. He had scooted a chair up to the latched screen door, used a wooden spoon to reach the high latch, push it open and wander almost a full block and across the street from home. Such a shocker! That neighbor became one of my best friends.

OMG!!!!! You are truely a guardian angel to find 3 kids. You saved that little girl and the others from a sometimes very ugly world. If she was dressed warmly, most kids that age cannot dress themselves properly. It sounds like someone wanted her to be found and taken to a better life. Please keep us updated. HUGS to you!!!!! I believe in Guardian Angels and you are a big reason why. You were sent to save these children. God Bless You and may he watch over all of our little ones who have no one to love them. So easy to get pregnant and then sometimes this is what happens to the sweet babies who are born. A flaw in our "make babies" design. Thank God for people like you all over the world.

How could you lose a child????? What irresponsible parents!

I knew a man one time who had a little girl whose mother asked him to watch her while she went to the store and mom never came back. The man raised her and when she was about 12 or 13, another woman asked him to watch her two kids while she went someplace and she never came back. What kind of odds is there that this would happen to the same person twice?
