We met at college and played together instead of studying. He flunked out. He was from NY and I was from SC. So we got married and put each other through school. That was 39 years ago this coming Saturdy.

we were young me 19, him 21 when we married. He lets me be me, he makes me laugh and lets hide behind him when I am scared. We will be married 45 years this July I think it will last!!

three things - he's my best friend, he makes me laugh just about every day and i couldn't imagine my life without him!
plus after almost 17 years together -7 1/2 married - i hope he feels the same about me! lol

He was a gentleman, and my best friend, and very supportive of me. Always encouraged me to go for it. That was 36 years ago, 34 married. and he's still my best friend!

We are coming up on Ann. # 39, but it seems like yesterday when we took our vows. I can't picture tomorrow without him.

Was married almost 22 years. Most of them miserable. Been divorced almost 27 years -- the happiest of my life.

It is nice to hear so many say they are happily married. I have become pretty cynical about marriage and it is good to be proved wrong at least part of the time.

So he would know I am his. Cut down on the mileage on the cars too :lol:

Money...and he's hot. (kidding)

Most important is he was raised and Christian and put God in the center of our lives. I trusted him totally and I witnessed how he treated older people and children. Also he very close to all of his extended family. I love that about him still today after 42 years. :lol:
