He makes me laugh and he is my best friend but the main reason is because i knew he would be an awsome Dad. I was right.

Because I was tired of all that free milk.......

Seriously, I sometimes wonder if we were twins separated at birth....(my mom says not hardly.) We've been married 15 months....we bought the same valentine card for each other without knowing it until yesterday. It's my first marriage but his second after that "practice" one.

My DH decided to finally "marry" on the day his father had his first stroke, thought it would to difficult to round up his "sons" if something similar happened to him. So we set the date after being engaged for five years.

we were young, 'in heat' and he was rotating back to the states from france. we couldn't stand the thought of being apart. so we rushed the 3 mo's of paper work thru, and got married before he rotated out of the military. and back to the states. 48 yrs later, we are still together.

I got married at 20 to a wonderful man. He was my best friend, my partner and my sweetheart. And he was an amazing dad. That marriage ended when we were 32, but we are still friends and with our daughter (now 25) still family. I, my parents and all of my siblings went to his second wedding.

I didn't think I would ever remarry- I thought I had lost my mind and divorced the only person for me. When I met Jim, he was everything I wasn't looking for. If we had met on a dating site, I wouldn't have dated him- he was older, separated but still married, etc. We became friends and slowly fell in love. We got married last year, with our kids and parents there, and it amazes me how well we fit together. I was single for so many years, and liked living alone. My life is so much richer for having him in it.

I was a young woman working as a car hop, his long time employees told me he was a good boss, didn't drink, treated them so good that they stayed for years with him, plus he was a darn good looking and courteous man! I spilled a cup of coffee on his lap to get his attention, and we were married 39 1/2 years when he passed away 4 years ago. Still miss him. Always will.
