nope dont think I'd want a tatoo of anything

I got my first tattoo when I was 32. My father was fine with it but my BFF's father had a fit. He asked me "What are you going to do when you are 80 and in a nursing home?" My reply was that I would be an 80 yo woman in a nursing home with a tattoo!

I too have worked as a nurse in a nursing home and no, tattoos don't age well. I don't really think having a tattoo is about how it will look when you are old. It is an expression of the individual and what does it really matter what a tattoo looks like when you are old. Some people don't age well either!!!

No, they can look cute when they are new but as you age and gain weight cute things can stretch out of shape.

One of my girlfriends threatened to hurt someone in delivery when they commented on her cute whale she had on her stomach. It was started out as a dolphin.

I just teasingly asked my husband if I should get the tattoo of the sewing machine on my boob even though it would stretch as I get older. He said, "Well, you did want a long arm quilter." HAHAHAHA!!!!!!
