 I like your way of thinking

I occasionally read some of these threads where people have huge challenges to deal with on an everyday basis - serious health issues, major family crises, unemployment - - -

So, the occasional clash/rudeness/stupidity one runs into is definitely in the "sand in your shoes" category. Doesn't really hurt one, but it is inconvenient and uncomfortable and ANNOYING!

Stop and dump the sand out, wipe one's feet off, and go on one's way.

Sometimes it is the "little things" though, that can really get our grundies in a big bunch.

Ever hear of the "kick the cat/dog syndrome"?

It's "random acts of kindness" in reverse.

I will take your words into consideration for myself. Thank you for posting this.

Everyone needs to vent, for sure, but there is a time and a place, and honestly I don't think this is it. This is a public site, it's kind of like standing in the middle of the town square and having a moan at everyone who walks past. ;)

well, I have not been on much lately due to computer problems, etc.
This post is making me smile wide, so I am either very happy today or maybe much more of a "glass half full" person than I realized.
Blue, the way you express yourself has always gave me pause or a giggle!

Kick my dog or cat and you will be sorry. I really don't get angry very much anymore, but if you hurt my animals that would be the thing to get me riled.

I have zero sense of humor when it comes to messing with my animals, too.

Totally agree. I'm bad about just hitting the Back button when I see things going down the toilet here. I need to try to help instead. Will try to remember that. :)

You make a good point Eddie! We all need to try and turn things around if they are headed in the wrong direction.

Have you guys not heard of that phrase before?
It's not literal..... it means taking your anger out on someone "below" you. Like your boss yells at you, so you yell at someone under you, or go home and "kick the dog". Trust me, it's not literal. :-)
