It's winter in Pennsylvania
And the gentle breezes blow Seventy miles an hour At twenty-five below. Oh how I love Pennsylvania When the snow's up to your butt You take a breath of winter And your nose gets frozen shut. Yes, the weather here is wonderful, So, I guess I'll hang around I could never leave Pennsylvania , Cuzz my ass is frozen to the ground. You could substitute New Hampshire or Virginia or... |
Oh yeah, I did not write this. It was sent to me by my FIL.

Lyn-lmao if I could but it is frozen to the ground also.
Read this somewhere today. Sign on the outside of a church in PA: Whoever is praying for snow, you can stop now! We are to get another 2-4 overnite and an additional 4-8 tom. Sure hope my new bobbin holder comes. I am going thru withdrawals not sewing. |
Lyn: thanks for the poem; I'd laugh but it's NOT FUNNY!!!! It's true--my poor dog has a frozen something else cause he's low to the ground and he's not real happy. We got another 4 inches over night so we're up to 27 inches on the ground and now the wind is blasting. I'm off today so I guess I have to start shoveling; but where do I put more snow???
Pennsylvania-love it or leave it. PS: I really did laugh at your poem-it's a good one! |
Looks like we got 4 - 6 inches overnight, but now it's snowing again.
I'm loving it, but very glad I don't have to drive anywhere! |
