I have to wear leather gloves to get and out of hubby's truck. It's just to hot to touch. Hope your burn heals fast.

Hi all, I live in WI, and on the news this morning they showed someone had taken a batch of cookies and put them on a cookie sheet and put in the car on the way to work. When they arrived at work the cookies were baked and able to eat. Showed them in the car and the person eating one. Anyone hear of this???

wow....Our heat wave finally broke today! It rained as I was on my way home from meeting friends for some evening tea and as the rain hit the hot road I could see the steam rise! More people died during this heat advisory than in the tornados we had last spring!

Aloe vera gel really does work on a burn! I really hope this heat stops very soon, for everybody! Take care!

It's been so hot that I wanted to see if bread would cook in the car.

I saw a picture of cookies baking on a cookie sheet. However, I doubt anyone was driving while that was going on.

UPDATE on the burn - I nicked my finger & it 'leaked' a little. I think I will put a band-aid on it so I don't leak any more stuff & protect it in case I bump it on something. ::still amazed at the branding::
