What an amazing young woman. She has so much to give the world. As you have instilled your values in your daughter, she will now pay it forward to so many others. You started something wonderful!!!

Your daughter is an inspiration! I wish her safe travels and a wonderful time. Congrats Mom on having a beautiful child that we all hope our children become!

You are a great mom, and yes worrying is just part of the mom thing...at least that is what my son tells.

Good job on not tying her to the chair. I had that same experience with my eldest daughter. She graduated from high school in the top 3% of her class (very large class). Always classified as talented and gifted. She played piano beautifully and loved to sing too. She could have done anything! She had scholarship offers, etc. What did she do? She went to a Bible college (unaccredited at the time, no less) because God was leading her to work in the ministry. God has blessed her and I'm so proud of her!

That is one selfless daughter you have. I would be so proud and scared all at one time as well. God does have plans for all of us and some of us know it better than others. I too have a daughter who travels, to Mexico and the Phillipines for work and just pray alot while she is gone. We have raised our children better than we thought.
Hugs and prayers to both of you.

Thank you so much for sharing your life with us. She is certainly a daughter to be proud of. As for the worrying, oh that never goes away, its just part of the territory of being a Mom. Ask me how I know : )
