Marsye's best friend Betty has been making those cool vests and trying to catch a man at the saloon. Marsye has been saving her scraps so Betty can make the vests to sell to other so she can buy her cigars.

Marsye is still trying to find a picture of her dad. They say he was a character as he owned the saloon that everyone goes to for dancing, drinking and more. (Ha Ha)

Of course, Betty or Gert, blames her smoking habit on Marsye and that is why she decided to do one better and smoke those ole cigars instead of just plain cigerettes.

Marsye is glad to see that they finally got some old folks to build a town for them.

Then everyone in town requested that Marsye make quilts to hang at the windows of all the stores in their new town as curtains to add a little more color, or at least a different kind of color than the saloon added.

Marsye has been selling her quilts at the saloon and boy is she selling them to the folks when they are drunk. She saved her money to get a sign for the cemetry.

Marsye has finally found the grave for her dad.

Her dad's name is supposed to be listed under the Civil War vets on the Old Pioneer Cemetery sign, but the guy who made the sign inherited the saloon from her dad when he died and was too drunk with sadness of the loss of his old buddy and forgot to put his name on. Now don't that beat all!!
