It's a long drive for you , but the town on Tillamook, Oregon has barn quilts on many of the buildings. They have a famous cheese and ice cream factory, so we visit the factory, buy cheese, have some delicious ice cream and then drive around town to see all the quilts. http://tillamook oregon barn quilts

i love The Little House on the Prarie, they seem to have a few, and everyone in the show has a quilt.
some are tied, and look like a working qult, some are prettier, like the nasty Nellie Olsen has a Dresden plate with a yellow center. the Ingalls on the other hand have working quilts, 6" squares of wool blends and fabrics like that.

The Big Sick. It was actually nominated for a couple of Oscars this year. GREAT movie. Holly Hunter plays the mom that brings her sick daughter a quilt in the hospital.

I have a board on pinterest for quilts on the big & small screens.

Tommy Lee Jones is wrapped in the prettiest quilt after a plane crash in the move "U.S. Marshals".
