Got rain here yesterday too. What a blessing; just about 1/2 inch at the house, but it was great. DH said it rained a little when he got up this morning. Kids all live in East Texas and I tried to send it their way, but guess it didn't make it. Suppose to rain again this afternoon. We will see. Thank you Lord for the rain. Please send more.

Sure Thankful it rained in Oklahoma. We farm near Enid and sure need the rain. Ponds are drying up.

congrats -- it's not cool here, but we have some clouds that from time to time conceal the sun for a little while -- would love to have some rain too

Sorry, don't know of any retreats here, but Grandma's Log cabin, south of Greenwood, may have one. I will inquire and let you know later.

We've had 3" of rain in the Tulsa area. Some high winds but I'm loving this rain. Rained this morning but sun is coming out. But it's so cool! In the high 80's. Never thought I would say that's cool. Electricity better come back on by next week-end in Enid! So looking forward to the retreat.

Corn is just down the road from Clinton!! I drive past the turnoff to Corn on my way to work in Cordell!! Is your cousin a quilter?

And we soooooooo enjoyed the rainy, cool day yesterday... It was a welcome respite... hot again today, but it gave us hope that eventually someday it will rain again and be cooler again...
