Louise, just got the RAK list and have updated from last ones. Thank you for all your work. Computers still tend to be "foreign" to me, but am getting a little better.

Only have one September birthday marked on my sheets. Are there others that I can send a birthday wish to? On my list I have started putting circles around info that I try to remember when I am out, like favorites, and such.

To all of you who will be traveling this weekend, have a safe trip. Blessings to all.

Awe MsCupid804......a great big "THANK YOU " for my birthday RAK that I got in the mail today. Such a wonderful pick me up after dealing with the hurricane these last couple of days. Once again a hurricane hits on my birthday...LOL maybe I should stop having them. Katrina hit on my 50th birthday. Fortunately we did not have any major damages from either as I live west of where they hit land.

Anyway, she sent me 6 beautiful FQ's in all my fav. colors. And I have gotten hooked on scrappy quilts lately and I can visualize these in one already.

Once again thank you my quilty friend, it really meant alot to me.

I got a birthday RAK from Luvstoquilt. I'll have to post later. It came a little early for my birthday but it came on a day that was so nice to get a lift as I had some troubling news that day. Thanks Sharon.

I received an AWESOME RAK this week from Aunt Janey.

She sent me a very pretty West Virginia mug to add to my
collection (one more off the list). Some lovely batik fabric
that I can't wait to find something I want to use it in. And
a piece of Blenko glass that is made near where she lives,
words fail to describe how cool it is.

I want to "hang" it up by the balcony door, but I will have to
make my own hanger for it, was thinking about some sort of
"binding" with a loop to use but not sure yet.

THANK YOU again Jane for the awesome RAK!!

Here is the post I promised. The colors are more vibrant than the pic shows and each section of color is out lined in gold, but I took it with my cell phone. The last time I posted a pic from my camera it took me 45 min. to do. Another time I couldn't even get it figured out to post. So I wanted to be sure to post. I will work on trying to get the other method down.

Louise,
Nice package! I love blenko glass. I saw a program on pbs once and made a pledge and received the leaf bowl. I also bought a 2nd hand cobalt water pitcher, but it fell and broke . They do have a very nice color saturation. Good luck with getting it hung the way you want.

ATTENTION RAK MEMBERS: Is there anyone on the RAK list whose FAVORITE color is orange? I search the list and saw no one. I am looking for someone whose favorite color is orange and not just "like" it because it's a color.

Louise, I cannot open the list you sent me because I need it in PDF format, so I was unable to check the most updated list. That being said, can you check for me and see if there is someone on the new sign ups if their fav. color is orange? Thx!

I am still working on the issue I have converting to pdf.

But will get it fixed (somehow) and sent to everyone.
