It's worth a try.
There are some really good adhesives out there. We use them on the cars all the time. My front license plate holder is put on with a double stick adhesive tape and has been on there for 5 years now. You do have to clean the surface that you are adhering to with alcohol for the best result.

There is a way. The Velcro people ( or other company that makes similar product) has a special Velcro with a super adhesive on it. You can buy it at stores that sell long arm machines/frames. I found some at Hancocks before it went out of business. I had already gone through several yards of adhesive Velcro for my take-up bars and none would stick for longer than one quilt. When I found the high adhesive one, I replaced all the Velcro on my take-up bars with this and it's still holding tight after over a year.

I think Texas Quilt Machines in Texas sells it, too. They have a website for purchasing. And a phone number to getting information/help about any product.

[QUOTE=GEMRM;7724468]Hello,
I'm looking for some suggestions on what product we could use to bond Velcro to nylon luggage (snowmobile bags).
Heat and Bond Ultrabond doesn't do it, it won't bond to the weave of the luggage without almost scorching the nylon. And it certainly won't bond the Velcro to it.
I suspect we would find the same result from the Pellon equivalent.
It sticks enough to make a mess where it sticks partially to the nylon, but not enough to let the Velcro stick to it.
Unfortunately, the location does not allow for sewing the Velcro on.
Has anyone here had any success with a Gorilla Glue type product? If so, which one?
Are there any other types of adhesive we could try?
What we're trying to accomplish is to apply Velcro to two different pieces of luggage so they will attach to each other.
Any and all suggestions welcomed![/QUO. TE]
A suggestion for your luggage question. If you can find Gutermann. All purpose glue that should work. It works on many different fabrics, metals, and plastics. Good luck. Debbie

Try E6000 glue. Use in a well ventilated area, it smells awful and the odor last a long time. We glued trim onto a race car that goes 150 mph. Held up very well.
