It is your redwork and you can do what you want with it. I often take redwork patterns and turn them into hand embroidery pieces.

I just finished the stitching on this pattern. I think it will be a pillow. Loved working on it!

No, it's pretty as redwork but it does cry out for colors, doesn't it? If you do it, be sure to let us see how it turns out.

Just because it is a redwork pattern doesn't mean you have to do it that way. There is absolutely nobody telling you that you can't do it the way you want to. Be creative, be colorful, and enjoy every stitch!!!
