Do I need regular status to pay it forward. I know I will lose mine when we go south. I'll be off line, who knows how long. I'm wanting to take some fabrics with me to use as PIF's.

the way i read the rules it doesnt look like you need to be a regular to do a pif ask a mod

I believe that you can give away all the fabrics you want whether you are a regular or not.

You can do a pay it forward just not a classified.

I think you have to post about every day to remain a regular, for any time I miss a few days, I lose my regular status

I think you can give away fabric, but you cannot ask for donations of fabric without regular status.

I thought it wasn't necessarily the regular status, but being a member for over 90 days to be able to sell anything...for pay if forward or to buy anything, I thought the rules are to be a member...make sure and read the rules at top of the classified buy, sell, trade board...or as sewwhat85 says, ask the mod...good luck!
