Seeing the faces of those seniors when they got to interact with the horses is just wonderful. Who would have thought mini horses could be therapy animals? Thank you, Karla--your pictures are an inspiration!

Love the pics. Looks like they all had a wonderful time. The smiles say it all! So good to see the mini's again! And Buddy is getting soooo big! Hope I can get to meet him before the summer is over. God bless!

When I am old and grey I wanna live near you!

That is too sweet.

My Buddy has grown. What a sweetie.

Their faces just light up around animals. It is wonderful that you take time to give them some joy in their lives.

It is so nice of you to do this for the people! You can tell they enjoy it! And it seems the animals like making new friends too!

You are wonderful. The seniors enjoy the animals. Those little horses are so cute and amazing with all the people. Keep up the kind work.

During the school year I contacted a reporter about one of my students--an amazing artist who needed recognition. A reporter came into the classroom to talk to her and the kids. It was great. I'll look for a link. Anyway--the reporter wanted to interview me for a "Teacher Profile" but I told her NO. I didn't want to be singled out of all the teachers in my building. She was persistent and asked if she could interview me NOT as a teacher, and I agreed. That article focused on the horses. Sooooo she arranged for a photographer to come take pictures and she called a few days later to ask a lot of questions. That article comes out Tuesday. I'll see if I can link to it and post.

Here it is http://www.mpnnow.com/life/x12373088...ith-classmates
