One weekend we went to Los Angeles sight seeing. I mentioned to my husband that Fred Segal's was a popular place for the stars. I was walking around there when suddenly Gina Davis (Thelma and Louise) was right in front of me. I was so star struck!!! I watched her from a distance. I could not bring myself to talk to her and I figured she would not want to be bothered. I also saw Red Skelton in Ottawa once.

Wow, you guys...Ive lived in Wisconsin forever, I guess not many stars come here, lol! Did "meet" the guys from Little River Band....they played in a small bar in Madison, and BF HAD to go...thye signed shirts, hugged everyone, Sweet guys really....

I haven't gone out of my way to meet anyone famous. I met Sam Walton in a Walmart store. I have bumped into Eleanor Burns, I was going out, she was coming in, neither was looking and we collided. That was fun.

Sarah Jessica Parker shot part of a film in my apartment.'
She was about 20 & it was an ABC Afterschool Special. I still have the video & the script & used to show it to my students as an example of film art.We have followed SJP's career ever since!

Kenny Chesney! Met him when he was here MANY MANY years ago doing autographs. My co-worker had a crush on him, but didn't want to go see him by herself. So I went with her with my camera. I have a pic of him sticking his tongue out at me ----somewhere. I may have given it to my co-worker.

I met George W Bush. Seriously!
My husband was in the Army, and was stationed at the White House. Before we left DC, we got to meet "Dubya" and get our picture taken. In the Oval Office! It was pretty awesome. I have the framed (and signed!) picture. I always get asked if it's Photo-shopped! :lol:
