So sad she was a wonderful actress. Now there is only Betty White left. I don't watch is it SNL but when she was one I did, she was a hoot.

Years ago, they said that actually the youngest actress of the group was "Ma" and I believe that Betty White was the oldest.

I liked the show too - well written for a mature audience.

I read Rue's book. It was wonderful. She will be sorely missed. I have a 24 year old niece and she has all of the Golden Girls episodes on dvd.You can's get that kind of humor anymore. It's sad. :-(

I have been watching it every night on WeTv when I can't sleep and just last week started recording them on my DVD if I miss them. Even the early shows are funny and witty.

I loved the Golden Girls too. Especially the way they got along. It was fun to watch them mix and mingle. Especially Maude. LOL. I would love to have an all day marathon to watch.

I watch the Golden Girls every week night, one of my favorite shows. I think Betty White is the only one remaining.

I just saw that on the net. So sad to hear.
We are loosing several actors/actresses in the last month.
Art Linkletter, Gary Coleman, Dennis Hopper, Rue McClanahan. So sad to loose so many.
