We are loosing several actors/actresses in the last month.
Art Linkletter, Gary Coleman, Dennis Hopper, Rue McClanahan. So sad to loose so many.
Alot of us are close to the same age, and the icons we all either grew up with or "knew" in our younger years are disappearing. Oh Harvey Korman, Perry Como, ooo Anthony Quinn, among literally hundreds more are gone. We SHOULD feel greatful that we were around when they were (they had definitely given us hours of pleasure) but, to realize that we really can't share their acting. singing, or personality is quite sad.

So sad. I watch the Golden Girls every evening when I am making dinner. I've seen every episode multiple times but still laugh each time. What an ensemble of talented women. She will be missed.

This is the first I've heard of it. Yes, so sad!

It wasn't Rue McClanahan's first stroke, though, was it?

I hope Betty White will be with us for many more years to come.

And it would be nice if someone would create another show or two about older characters, not another Golden Girls, but something equally good.
