OMG...NO, I did NOT go out to find that spider. The web disappeared when the sun came out (maybe the dew weighed it down). I have absolutely NO desire to see it, have no desire to go out at night and find it! LOL Actually, I did, with my granddaughter, go out and look but didn't see anything. As for getting an exterminator....we live on 1 1 1/2 acres, with empty acreage around us, and National Forest land beyond that...I think an exterminator would be VERY costly.

Chasing Hawk...GOOD picture...LOL and I DID shudder when I saw it! LOL

Quick!! grab pencil and paper and sketch the web design then quilt it on your next scrappy quilt!! I have done this and it was beautiful!!

at certain times of the year you can see these things flying all around in my neck of the woods. they collect on everything. never seen a really big spider tho.

Didn't see a spider out there....got to admit though, I didn't look over there too much! The hammock is one my SIL bought for when she visits (she's a kook) and I never get in it!!! I'd rather quilt! We've had wind, freeze and rains so I think the spider has probably gone in for the winter.
