In college I earned extra money by doing laundry, sewing on buttons, taking up hems etc. for girls whose Mothers didn't teach then and probably didn't know themselves. My daughter did the same thing in her college years! The cycle continues. My son once commented that I hadn't ironed his uniform correctly - I was 1/4 inch off on a crease- so he took over and has enjoyed ironing ever since.
