Mine doesn't have much originality to it either. My given name is Candace - family and friends all call me Candy - since a lot of my time is spent quilting, it just seemed to blend together "Quiltingcandy".

Mine's pretty straightforward, got 2 kids (both grown) and I hang out in the Mom Cave (a.k.a. the basement) where all my sewing stuff is supposed to stay put. Some of it has migrated to the kitchen again!

While waiting for our grandchilds birth (21 years ago), our daughter insisted that this child would call me Grandma as she called hers. I was not sure I liked that but was very happy to BE that. So when our Megan was learning to talk she could Not say Grandma. It came out Reba, so I am stuck with it! Lots of people who know our grands call me Reba, sometimes they are surprised to find out my name is Carol! The 5 year olds call me ...The Rebs! All of them learned early not to touch the sewing machines or Reba'squilts.

Dunster is on Highway 16, west of Valemount and east of McBride. It has a general store, a community center, a small grade school, and that's about it. There is also a train station, but the train only stops by prior appointment. Yet it is one of the most beautiful spots on earth. It's in a valley between the Rocky Mountains and the Cariboo Mountains and the Fraser river runs through it. It's a farming/ranching community without an actual "town" and doesn't appear on many maps.
