Senior Discount at lunch
#22
I was shopping with my older aunt (who had snow white hair) and they gave me the disount--in my 40's, and did not give it to her. She couldn't wait to get home and call and tell everyone. Until the day she died, she'd get a funny look on her face and start laughing and I always knew what she was thinking.

Our senior center accepts memberships if you are 50 or older, so it just depends on what the establishment rules are-- I agree with the others who say "take the money and run" (run to the nearest fabric store and add to you stash :)

My hair was prematurely white.
Inherited from maternal grandparents.
Started when I was a senior in high school.
I was given a discount at 42.
Colored now but I am letting is
grow off. It looks awful but
I m getting there.

Ha! I was checking out at Joann's and the cashier put a senior discount coupon in my bag. I said, "I'm not a senior." She said, "Maybe you know someone who is."
I was not in a good mood and kind of offended. I'm 47.
